Condolence: Dear Gordon and family, I am so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. You both faced this challenge with such grace. I am so happy that we got to reconnect with you both these past few years. I was reminded of what a very nice couple you are and of course it took us all back to such happy times. Please know that all your high school friends are sending their cumulative love and support to you. Sue was a gem.

Condolence From: Susan Bernardini
Condolence: To Gordon and family - I went to school with Susan as a child and as a teenager. Our birthdays are one day apart. In fact, one year when we were in elementary school, our mothers decided to throw us a joint birthday party at our house on Kinne St. Susan and I also shared an unfortunate 15th birthday the day of (11/22) and day after (11/23) President Kennedy was shot. Looking as her photo, except for the grey hair, she looks just like she did in high school and it reminded me of her voice and laugh. Some memories last a lifetime as mine have and yours will. I am so very sorry for your loss and saddened by her passing. Susan's friend from grade school - Susan

Condolence: I remember when Sue first arrived at AV Baucom in Apex, NC to teach a combination 4/5 class. My son was pulled from another class to be one of the class members and his disappointment at having to leave a teacher he had wanted so badly quickly turned to joy at having Mrs. Rink. She was a wonderful teacher and we felt very fortunate to be in her class! I am saddened to hear of her passing but want all of you to know that she was a very bright light in ours and she will always be remembered and loved for what she gave to others. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Condolence: Many prayers to all the family and friends. Sue was such an amazing woman. She had such a wonderful, fun personality and a love of all things pig! She had such a heart for teaching. She loved the kids, and the parents that came with them... But she did amazing things and left a mark in the hearts of all who knew her. May God hold you all close throughout these difficult days ahead. I will miss seeing her at SCE and around town.
