Obituary for Etta Mae Ayers (Jett)

Etta Mae  Ayers (Jett)
Etta Mae Jett Ayers, 95, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday November 2, 2017 following a brief illness.
Born April 1, 1922 to the late Claude and Mae Jett, she had been a resident of Dawson County for most of her life. She worked full time as a seamstress until her retirement at 79 years of age. A member of Winds of Peace Fellowship, Etta was a great example and faithful servant. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Lee Ayers, Sr.; son, Lee Ayers; great grandson, Abram Ayers; three brothers; three sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Frances Lester, Dawsonville, Shirley Hulett, Dawsonville, Joyce Waters, Cleveland; daughter in law, Wanda Ayers, Dawsonville; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday November 5, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Panter will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday November 4 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
