Obituary for Judy Patriarche Podsedly

Judy Patriarche Podsedly
Judy Patriarche Podsedly, 72, of Big Canoe, Georgia passed away Monday December 25, 2017 at Northside Hospital Cherokee following an extended illness.
Born February 12, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Jack and Lucille Patriarche, Judy had been a resident of Dawson County for 16 years. A 1963 graduate of East Lansing High School, she went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the Michigan State University in 1967. Judy met her husband while attending college and they moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 1973. A loving and dedicated mother, she was very involved in her son’s activities growing up. She enjoyed decorating our home and yard, treated our dogs as family and was an accomplished needleworker. After moving to Georgia and her husband’s retirement, they travelled the world extensively. She is also preceded in death by her son, Jamie Podsedly.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Michael Podsedly of Big Canoe, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Herb and Judy Patriarche of Boise, ID, Curt Patriarche of Indian River, MI, Dennis and Lynda Patriarche of East Lansing, MI; other relatives.
The family is planning private memorial services.
