Obituary for Howard D. Troville

Howard D.  Troville
Howard D. Troville, 69, of Winder passed away Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton following a period of declining health.
Mr. Troville was born September 23, 1948 in Burlington, Vermont to the late Howard and Georgette Troville. An honorably discharged U.S. Air Force veteran who served from 1966 - 1970, Mr. Troville voluntarily enlisted and served as a SP (Security Police) officer. He was stationed in Korea, the Philippines and participated in special assignments with the 31 into Vietnam. He was also a member of the Roswell VFW 7583 and American Legion Post 201, where he and his wife spent time with fellow veterans and spouses dancing and having dinner often on Friday nights. Howard lived for a number of years in Dawsonville and also formerly owned and operated Shimmer and Shine in Dahlonega. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Jackie Lowell Troville and a brother, Bruce Alan Troville, Sr. of St. Albans Vermont.
Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Sonny and Kellie Arrington, Cumming; brother and sister in law, Bryant Keith and Lillian Troville, Kissimmee, FL; grandchildren, Bret Arrington, Bryce Chason, Sidney Chason, Macie Arrington; sister in law and brother in law, Mary and Don Phillips, Hoschton; nephew, Bruce Troville, Cumming; Niece, Kerry Troville, Vermont; and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 4, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wayne Norris will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour on Thursday.
