Obituary for Matthew Paul Waldrip

Matthew  Paul  Waldrip
Matthew Paul Waldrip, 29, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, GA. He was a life long resident of Dawson County, GA. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served two tours in Afghanistan. He loved to fish and spend time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Pauline Weaver.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Waldrip of Dawsonville, GA; children, Georgia Waldrip of Dawsonville, GA, Madeline Burnett of Gainesville, GA, Blake Burnett of Gainesville, GA; parents, Tammy Martin of Cumming, GA, Paul Waldrip of Carrollton, GA; brother, Justin Waldrip of Dawsonville, GA; grandmother, Linda Waldrip Wimbish of Carrollton, GA; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Monday February 19, 2018 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ed Rice will officiate. Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday, from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help with final expenses.
