Dianne Mabrey, 59, of Dahlonega died Wednesday June 16, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness.
Born June 27, 1950 in Fulton County to the late Everett and Claudine Mason, she lived in Dawsonville for 12 years before moving to Dahlonega 2 years ago. A homemaker, Mrs. Mabrey was a loving “Mamaw” and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Deana Carol Mabrey and a sister.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Phil Mabrey, Dahlonega; children, Jamie Mabrey, Arcade, Shelley and Ty Panter, Dahlonega, Melanie and Greg Kent, Ball Ground, Amy Mabrey, Dawsonville, Jon and Kris Mabrey, Dawsonville; sisters, Carol Peardon, Canton, Faye Lively, Ball Ground; brothers, Doug Mason, Dawsonville, Dennis Mason, Jasper, Ricky Mason, Jasper; 11 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 18, 2010 at 1 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Panter and Rev. John Boyd will officiate. Interment will follow in the Roswell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 9 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to offset final expenses.
