Dear Ann and Family: I am heartsick to learn of Pat's passing. I have never forgotten his sweet sweet spirit and huge heart in all those years of your and his foster parenting. Our program at DFCS could not have survived without you all. His big arms and ways of easing all of the anxiety of our kids the minute he met them will always be a wonderful memory for me. I know you all have memories like these and I pray they will sustain each of you. God bless.

Dearest Ann,

I am so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. He was a great guy, so very funny. He could always make me laugh, that is a wonderful gift to always share, the gift of laughter. I will carry with me many wonderful memories.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know that Pat is present with the Lord and that he has to be causing lots of smiles and laughter in Heaven.

God Bless all of you! My prayers are with you.

Love,
Gina
