Michael was my cousin, whom I did not get to know very well, I knew of him when I heard my mama speak of him Janice Castleberry Stone and his mother Wilda Pirkle. It was always about what a fine man he was and how well he was doing with his career in the Marines. I know that his families hearts are heavy with grief and my prayers are with you all at this time. May God comfort you and give you the strength to get through the days and months ahead. If you rely on him, I promise he will see you through. The memories will be more precious now than ever before and will bring you comfort.
With much Love and Prayers

In the time I knew Michael he was always looking after his children and always trying to help if anyone needed it. I am saddened that he will not be here in person to see his grandson play his first sports game or even ride the motorcycle that he bought for him.(Only Michael would do this for a two year old.) He always gave in excess with no concern for his own personal comforts. God speed my friend, you will be missed by all. Even though it hurts now that we can't be with you; we will cherish your memory and are envious of where your new adventure will take you.

SIncerely,
Mark

My Daddy was a great man. He was not just a hero to me, my child and the rest of our family, but to us all for the time and effort he spent defending our Country. One day my son will be old enough to hear all about his Papa and what a hero he really was. I love you Daddy and I will see you again as you and the rest of the fallen Marines guard the Streets of Gold!

Heavens gates are open wide. Jesus said, "My brother step inside". Though the tears down my face flow, the hardest part will be letting go. Here on earth a Marine you were, now in Heaven you protect and serve. I will not say goodbye, for Heaven is our home. So until we reunite I only say farewell and so long I will miss you my dear brother. Love your sis Tracy
