Hector was a trained service dog who served with the Dawson County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit from 2012 until he passed away while on duty in November of 2018.

To honor his service to this community, a memorial service to honor him will be held Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 11 o'clock at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.
