Andrew Thomas Jones, 76 of Dahlonega, GA passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Dahlonega, GA after an extended illness. He was born in Hillsdale, MI. to the late Ore and Clara Jones. He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA. He loved God and his church family. He retired from the construction business after 40 plus years due to a extended illness. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved to garden and spend time with his family and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, John Underwood; sister, Lucille Leazier; brothers, David Jones and Leo Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Donna Jones of Dahlonega, GA; children, Christina Seabolt of Jacksonville, FL, Amanda and Scott Trevarthen of Gainesville, GA, Tony and Andrea Jones of Dahlonega, GA, Jody and Michelle Jones of Dahlonega, GA, Melissa Conley of Dawsonville, GA; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Michael and Sheryll Jones of Edgerton, OH, Ronnie and Becky Jones of Nocona, TX, Donald Jones of Cherry Valley, IL; numerous step children, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA with the Reverend Mark Biddy officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.

The family will receive guest on Tuesday from 10:00 – 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
