Barbara Francis Rodriguez, 82, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 04, 2022, in her home at Manor Lake Dawsonville, after a brief illness.
Barbara was born on December 22, 1939, in Tupelo, MS., to Marion Bernard and Grace Missoura (Nix) Francis. She was a former manager with Reliable Stores in Virginia. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her partner, Jeffrey Apostle; seven siblings, Marion “Mickey” Fulton (Thomas), Sara Mildred Elizabeth Francis, Betty Francis Seifert (Mark), Paul Francis, Joyce “Cookie” Francis Newsom, Bobby Francis and Boaz Francis (Edith); her grandson, Landon Wade Bowers (Lindsey). Survivors include her four children, Sonya Fuqua Casner (Bruce), Charles Louis Fuqua (Juanie), Gregory Scott Fuqua (Kimberly), Kimi Rodriguez Bowers (Richard); eight grandchildren, Austin Sanchez, Charles Paul Fuqua, Gregory Louis Bowers (Erin), Samantha Lara Sanchez, Dylan Thomas Fuqua, Christopher Evan Bowers (Morgan), Richard Leslie Bowers II, Leslie Ann Teran, Stephen Michael Teran (Jordan); 5 great-grandchildren Leighanna Lynne Bowers, Landon Richard Bowers, Archie Nix Teran, Liam Dean Bowers, Wade Garrity Bowers; and several nieces and nephews.
