Obituary for Beth Gazaway
Beth Gazaway, 93, of Gainesville passed away Wednesday October 21, 2020.
Born July 15, 1927 to the late Arnold and Beulah Hubbard, she lived most of her life in Forsyth County. Mrs. Gazaway retired as a seamstress and was formerly employed by Oxford Industries, Gainesville Manufacturing and Barry Manufacturing. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was very devoted to her family and church. A member of Cross Roads Baptist Church, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Gazaway; sisters, Dean Spain, Dorsey Sewell; and brother, John Hubbard.
Surviving are her children, Doug and Charlene Gazaway, Gainesville, Bradley and Jill Gazaway, Brunswick, GA, Debbie and David Reed, Cumming; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters and brother in law, Ovie and John Seabolt, Cleveland; Barbara Hubbard, Dawsonville; brother and sisters in law, Roger and Linda Hubbard, Cumming, Barbara Hubbard, Cumming; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Sunday October 25, 2020, at 2 o’clock at Sawnee View Gardens. Rev. Dennis Bottoms, Rev. Gary English, and Rev. Donnie Nix will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church, c/o Andrew Grindle, 6095 Jett Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
