Charles F. Barry, 88, of Dawsonville passed away at his home on November 13, 2020. He was graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and served as a Navy Officer for 5 years. He worked in sales management for IBM for 30 years before retiring to Dawson County. Charlie was a mentor in Dawson County Schools for many years as well as a member of the Dawson County Lion’s Club, where he held several offices and was the recipient of many awards. He spent many years volunteering at the Ric Rac and was a board member for over 15 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Carol and his daughters Allison and Paige and 4 grandchildren.
