Charles “Charlie” Francis Callahan, III, 69, of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. He was born in South Charleston, WV to Charles Callahan, II and Anita Beatrix Hix. He was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and retired from The Westwind Group where he was a senior operations training consultant.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his son, Alex Callahan and brother, Patrick Callahan.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Kathy Solomon Callahan; children, Morgan Douglas Callahan, Ian Callahan, Jennifer Callahan, Katie Ludes, Leslie Nietzel, Robyn Barrette, Tiffani Blaine and Keisha Hyatt; sisters, Kathy Addison, Beth Hood___ and Patty Paquin; grandchildren, Gabe Ludes, Dylan Ludes, Evangeline Ludes, Connor Blaine, Payton Blaine, Camryn Stinson, Cathryn Barrette, Henry Barrette, VII, Austin Smith, Tristin Martin, Karlee Martin, Elena Mendez, Felix Callahan, Benjamin Callahan, Isabella Escobar, Christian Hendrick, Dylan Brewer, Kaleb Hyatt and Kaden Hyatt.

A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, Dawsonville, GA.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
