Obituary for Charlie Clifton Chester
Charlie Clifton Chester, 72, of Dawsonville, GA passed away after an extended illness on Friday, May 15, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side. He was born to the late Arnold “Chiz” and Lona Mae Chester. He was a lifelong resident of Dawson County who loved to farm and garden. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Clinton Chester.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Joyce Chester of Dawsonville, GA; sons and daughters in law, Bryan and Angela Chester of Dawsonville, GA, Briston and Ruth Chester of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Tiffany and Zack Cobb, Carrie Maher, Anna Maher, Raleigh Chester, Chelsea Chester, Briston Francis Maiko Chester; great grandchildren, Able Salim, Jaxon Cobb; sister and brother in law, Geneva and Dale Hampton of Roswell, GA; and numerous other relatives survive.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Murrayville, GA. Rev. Jason Buffington will officiate.
