Colby Blake Davenport, 24, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022.

Colby was employed at Hawks Ridge Golf Club and was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just spending time out in nature. Colby enjoyed working with livestock from a young age and competed in competitions with the FFA while in school. That passion continued on with his joy of raising show chickens. Colby was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Dawsonville. Colby is preceded in death by his mother Amanda Davenport and grandparents Joy Henson and Larry Merck.

Colby is survived by his father and mother Tracy and Karen Davenport, sisters Sara, Kara, and Hanna, niece and nephew Alysa and Grant Reeves, grandparents Hubert and Shirley Davenport, Gary and Shirley Henson, and Juanita Merck. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who love and miss him dearly.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 3 o’clock at the Juno Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Bottoms will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
