Deanna is survived by her son, Mitchell (Mary) Mullinax; daughter, Susan Bennett; grandchildren, Nicole Mullinax, Jake Bennett, and Eli Bennett; sisters and brothers, Joyce (Walter Hugh) Smith, Judy (Lamar) Roper, Fran (Ralph) Gravitt, Greg (Kaye) Cox, Anita (Andrew) Bearden; sister-in-law, Judy Cox; brother-in-law and sister-in law, Glen and Barbara Mullinax; and Dee Dee’s boys Mason, Connor, and Brock Bearden; as well as cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
Deanna was a member of Silver City Baptist Church. Over the years, Deanna held many jobs, her most recent at Vickery school cafeteria. Previously, she worked for many years at Sanky’s. She built many long-lasting relationships with the ones she worked with and everyone she met. Deanna loved to listen to music and cooking and preparing food for special occasions for all her family and friends to enjoy. She truly enjoyed her Florida beach trips and outings with “the hens” (her sisters). Deanna was the ‘life of the party’ and was always ready for a gathering of family and friends. She would be the first to jump in for the adventure, ready to make memories. Her stories, witty sayings, and laughter will be missed.
Deanna was a loving, kind, and caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her biggest accomplishments are her children and grandchildren of whom she was extremely proud and through which her loving, welcoming legacy lives on.
