He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Helen Byers of Dawsonville, GA; children, Terry Byers of Dawsonville, GA, Tracy and Jennifer Byers of Flagler Beach, FL; grandchildren, Jacob Byers and Karissa Byers; sister, Mary Ann Blessing; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.
