Gailya S. Thompson, 91, of Conyers, GA. stepped into eternity on June 22, 2022. She spent her 91 years here on this earth loving and serving all that knew her. As an elementary school teacher spanning 38 years, she touched many lives of children and their families always directing them toward a positive outlook on life.
For her family and friends – she was a joyful adventurer in this life with Jesus as the Solid Rock of her faith. She freely shared the love of our Father God with all that crossed her path. She is preceded into eternity by her husband of 62 years, Edward Bailey Thompson. She is survived by her children: Caroline Thompson Moore (Tim) of Southern California), Jennifer Thompson Dillon (Michael) of Gainesville, GA, and Edward Bailey Thompson (Lindsay) of Huntsville, AL: and 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Her family honors her and the life she shared. Our sweet “Muv” will be missed.
