George William “G.W.” Crowe, 87 of Dawsonville, GA passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Stone Mountain, GA to the late Hushell Crowe and Nannie Mae Crowe Elam. He was a member of First Baptist Church Dawsonville. He served as a Deacon at both First Baptist Church Dawsonville and Idlewild Baptist Church, Lutz, FL for over 15 years. He was in the dairy business where he served as a Milk Man for more than 29 years and then he joined his wife in the beauty supply business. He loved landscaping and golf. G.W. was a loving husband, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Harold Crowe; granddaughter, Amelia Crowe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Beverly Alred Crowe; daughter and son in law, Dale and Terry Lee, son and daughter in law, Nathan and Jody Crowe; former son in law, John and Anne Herndon; grandchildren, Vicki and Barry Swaney, Christy and Wayne Dickerson, Adam and Molly Crowe; great grandchildren, Joseph, Christine, Hannah, Ashley, Emilie Ethan, Lucas, Amber, Madison, Garitt, Connor, Payton, Preslie, and Parker; and numerous other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Dawsonville, Dawsonville, GA with the Reverends, Stan Lovell, Dustin Gillespie and Dr. Jim Gaines officiating. Interment will follow at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens, Dawsonville, GA.
