Grace Marlue Garrett, 88, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday November 22, 2020 following a period of declining health.
Grace was born July 4, 1932 in Murphy, North Carolina and had been a resident of Dawsonville since 2005, having moved from Loganville. A loving mother and grandmother, Grace was affectionately known as “Mamaw”. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Oma Allen, husband, Boyd Garrett, son, Bruce Garrett and brother, Bill Allen.
Surviving are her daughter, Kathy J. Hudson of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Starr (Mark) Sullens of Cleveland; Brian Hudson of Dawsonville; great-grandchildren, Mirissa, Mallory, Morgan, Ethan, Zoey; great-great-grandchildren, Aiden, Stormy, Lee, Cerenity, Nova, Avery, Jovie Anna; other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Loganville.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday.
