Obituary for Helen Hardin Lomax

Helen Hardin Lomax, 70, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday January 23, 2020 at her residence following a sudden illness.
Born November 14, 1949 in Gastonia, NC to the late Emory R. and Cora Hardin, she had lived in Dawson County most of her life. Helen retired from Home Depot after which she worked as a healthcare provider. She was a talented artist who loved painting and wood burning. A member of New Life Church of God, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Joan Hardin Little; and brothers, Wesley Hardin and Bobby Hardin.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Telitha Lomax and Phillip Randall, Dawsonville; grandson, Corbin James Randall; sisters and brothers in law, Susan and Wayne Shires, Forest City, NC, Janice and Don Fleming, Dawsonville; brothers and sisters in law, Robert and Kathy Hardin, Dawsonville, Danny and Gail Hardin, Gainesville, Doug and Vinnie Hardin, Kentucky; and a number of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 8, 2020 at 2 o’clock at the New Life Church of God. Pastor Mike Owens will officiate.
