Helon “Valaree” Walls, 88, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 after and extended illness. She was born in Cumming, GA, to the late Ernest Edgar and Callie Turner. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, Cumming, GA. She loved quilting, sewing and gardening. She had a great love for her family and grandchildren and spending time with them. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edsel Lee Walls; brothers, Wayne Turner, E.C. Turner; sisters, Virginia Lamb, Bobbie Owens.

She is survived by her children, Regina Glausier of Ellijay, GA, David and Theresa Walls of Dawsonville, GA, Richie and Rachel Walls of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, Katrina and Brett Clayman, Gelena Bailey, Cody Walls and Brooke Cohran, Colt and Madison Walls, Cade Walls; great grandchildren, Caleb Glausier, Sean Clayman; sister, Dean Gravitt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, Dawsonville, GA with the Reverends, Ruel Martin, Craig Richards, and Ronnie Sosebee officiating. Interment will follow the service at Sawnee View Gardens, Cumming, GA.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
