Obituary for Homer J. Chadwick
Homer J. Chadwick, 68, of Gillsville passed away Monday, January 31, 2022.
Born May 17, 1953 in Forsyth County to the late Joe and Essie Chadwick, he had lived in Gillsville for the past 9 years having moved from Dawson County. Homer was formerly employed as a Heat & Air Technician. A devoted Christian, he had spoken at several churches. He enjoyed hunting, anything outdoors, NASCAR, and football. Mr. Chadwick was also preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ann Chadwick; son, Jody Chadwick; and several sisters and brothers.
Surviving are his son and daughter in law, Jason and Christina Chadwick, Ball Ground; grandchildren, Lela Chadwick, Chloe Chadwick, Dean Chadwick, Neil Chadwick; sister and brother in law, Betty and Daniel Hester, Cumming; and a number of other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2 o’clock at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor John Kinsey will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
