Obituary for James Jackson

James Jackson, 43, of Dawsonville passed away Monday February 15, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Jackson was born July 19, 1977 in Athens, Tennessee and had lived in Dawson County for the past 8 years. He worked as a commercial truck driver and enjoyed music, especially his favorite band, Slipknot. James attended CrossBridge Church and was a member of Broken Chains. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Burroughs; father, Richard Seymour; grandmother, Charlene Davis Toomey; and mother in law, Shirley Jackson.
Surviving are his wife, Heather Jackson, Dawsonville; his Fur Kids, China, Lilith, Alaster; father in law, Dallas Jackson, Dawsonville; sister in law, Nicole Pittman (Nickolas Sowden), Dawsonville; stepfather, Merrill Burroughs, Newnan; brother, John Richard Seymour, Hogansville; nieces, Makenzie Seymour, MaKayla Sowden; nephew, Wyatt Pittman; and a number of other relatives.
At his request Mr. Jackson was cremated and the family is planning a memorial at a later date.
