Ricky Waters, 61, of Bowdon, GA and formerly of Dawsonville, GA, passed away on Monday, June 13,2022 at his residence after and extended illness. He was born to the late James and Betty Waters. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Ricky worked as a carpenter working on both residential and commercial properties. He loved fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Jessica Ann Waters, Erica Natalie Waters, brother, Jason Waters.

He is survived by his children, Kristi and Jason McCravy of Bowdon, GA, Drew Waters and his fiancé Lacie Johnson of Newnan, GA; grandchildren, Audrey Dixon, Aiden McCravy, Jaxon McCravy, McKinly Johnson, Brecklan Waters; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley and Tim Davis, Debbie McCook, Pam Williams, Connie Barrett; and numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Rodney Pilcher officiating, interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Dawsonville, GA.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund to In Care of Clayton Vaughters, 3165 Hwy 136 West, Dawsonville, GA 30534
