Obituary for Jenifer Lynn "Jenni" Walls

Jenifer Lynn “Jenni” Walls, age 56 of Dawsonville passed away after a short illness on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

Jenni was a resident of Chelsey Park Rehabilitation Facility in Dahlonega and enjoyed all the activities that were provided there. She especially liked playing Bingo and Blackjack with her friends. Her favorite pastime was watching I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, and cartoons. Jenni was a graduate of Forsyth County High School, and she attended Piedmont College for a brief time. Jenni was a proud member of Concord Baptist Church, Cumming, Georgia, where she attended faithfully until her circumstances changed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glyndon and Louise Walls; and grandparents, Claude and Effie Walls, Linton and Ora Moore.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Steven Wilson, Dawsonville; and bother and sister-in-law, Danny and Alice Walls, Acworth; nieces and nephews: Kristi and Stephen Gerrells, Kerri and Tony Whitmire, Kasey and Becca Wilson, Dahlonega; David and Ashley Walls, Marietta; Amanda Wilhelm, Acworth; Todd and Jennifer Walls, Sugar Hill; aunt Evelyn Pylant, Marietta; aunt and uncle, Pat and Norman Miller, Cumming; Janice Walls, Cumming; Ann Moore, Gainesville; her very special friend and companion, Mitzi Caine, Cumming; great nieces and nephews, Kalie and Jacob Smith, Zachary and Taylor Gerrells, Hannah Gerrells, Clayton Whitmire, Jaci and Kason Wilson; Ally Wilhelm, Nikola Walls, Faraday Walls; great-great niece, Ruthie Smith, and great-great nephews, Henry and Walter Gerrells. A large number of cousins and dear friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2 o’clock in the chapel at Bearden Funeral Home in Dawsonville. Family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, Cumming, Georgia.
