Obituary for Joey Allen White Jr.
Joey Allen White, Jr., 52, of Athens passed away Saturday August 22, 2020 at Northside Forsyth Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. White was born June 29, 1968 in Fulton County and had lived in Athens for over 2 years having moved from Alpharetta. He worked as a commercial truck driver, was an accomplished guitarist, enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah White.
Surviving are his wife, Gayle White, Athens; children, Brad and Kari Moss, Bethlehem, GA, Neal White, Atlanta, Jessie Hill, Ellijay, Kaitlyn and Brooke Faulk, Lafayette, LA, Levi Runnels, Franklin, GA, Joey Allen White, III, Franklin, Brittany and Mike Ebright, Watkinsville; grandchildren, Lennon, Thayer, Ellis, Eric, Emma, Kaden, Dylan; father, Joey Allen White, Sr., Jasper, sisters and brother in law, Samantha and Jonathan Vaughn, Macon, Kacey White, Franklin; brothers and sisters in law, Matt and Button White, Ellijay, Dennis and Crystal White, Jasper; and a number of other relatives.
The family will receive friends Thursday August 27, from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
