My first real interaction with Mr. Dotson, he was wearing a coconut bra by the pool. He was a master of Dad Jokes and forced me to try butter pickles. They were terrible, but his enthusiasm almost made up for it. He was always kind to me, and raised two pretty amazing kids. My life is better for having known him. Mrs. Dotson, Rachel & Becca, I am so sorry for your loss. I love you all very much.

John, I’ll always remember you fondly from our days at Statesboro High School. That is the magic of our childhood memories.... we remember each other in our most youthful and vibrant selves. Hopefully, all your classmates will remember you just that way. Rest In Peace, John.

Now, our thoughts will be with your family, in hopes that they will soon, find the strength to once again, smile when they think of you.
