Kurt E. Klein, 61, of Duluth passed away Friday August 9, 2019 from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident in rural Linville, North Carolina at Grandfather Mountain.
Kurt was born May 16, 1958 in New York, NY. He moved several times throughout his life and finally found a home in Georgia. He worked passionately as a landscape contractor having pride in his work and the shaping of the area he loved. He lived to play with his grandchildren and was a racecar enthusiast. Kurt was preceded in death by his father, Walter Klein.
Surviving are his children, Leslie and Troy Etherton, Rachele Klein and Pete Shickel, Kurt V. Klein; grandchildren, James Etherton, Ellen Etherton; mother, Eleanore Klein; sisters and brother in law, Deidre Klein-Skof, Deborah Harty, and Leslie and John Culmone.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 21, 2019 at 12 noon at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
Friends and family will visit beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
