Obituary for Leon LeDon Bennett Jr.
Leon LeDon Bennett, Jr, 92, of Cumming, GA passed away at Gracemont Assisted Living, Cumming, GA after an extended illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dawsonville, GA. He retired as a General Manger for GTE-Sylvania after 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the US Army and US Airforce where he served during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Bennett; sons, Steven Paul Bennett and David Wayne Bennett: brother, Gilbert “Gil” Bennett.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and David Wood of Gainesville, GA; sister-in-law, Royce Bennett of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Michelle and Kenny Setzekorn, Korie, Kerc, Delane, Danielle; great grandchildren, Dylen and Ashlyn Setzekorn, Laiken, Cason, Rylan; and numerous other relatives survive.
