Obituary for Linda Jones
Linda Jones, 65, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday January 9, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Born April 17, 1954 in Norfolk, Virginia, she had lived in Dawson County most of her life. Linda was a homemaker who was extremely devoted to her family and was loved by all who knew her. She constantly put others before herself. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, and was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Johnnie and Dennis Gill.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Ronald “Runt” Jones, Dawsonville; children, Tony Jones, Sheryl Jones, Vickie Jones, Shelby Jones, Dennis and Karlee Jones, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Cole, Leah-Shea, Trenton, Jameson, Levi and Sophie.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 until 7 at the funeral home.
