Obituary for Myron C. "Bud" Stephens
Myron C. “Bud” Stephens, 90, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday February 2, 2021 following a period of declining health.
Born June 7, 1930 to the late Ermon and Ellie Stephens, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Bud was a former bus driver with the Dawson County School System and worked several years as a night watchman. He retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation following many years of service. A member of Harmony Baptist Church, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Dover Stephens; sister, Betty Nix; and brother, William “Billy” Stephens.
Surviving are his son, Myron V. Stephens, Dawsonville; nephew, Jimmy Nix, Gainesville; and a number of other relatives.
Due to concerns of COVID-19 the family is planning a private service.
