Obituary for Nancy Jane Wise
Nancy Jane Wise, 74, of Dawsonville passed away Friday January 1, 2021 at her residence.
Born January 8, 1946 in Hemingway, SC, she had lived here for the past 7 years having moved from Garden City, SC. A homemaker at her death, for many years she assisted her husband in the ownership and operation of B W & Me. She enjoyed gardening, antiques, and was very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. A member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Billy A. Wise; and a sister, Betty Jo Benson.
Surviving are her daughters and sons in law, Lynn and Scott McEver, Dawsonville, Christy and Tommy Lewis, Jr., Sumter, SC, Lezlee Detscher, Canton, Honey and Josh Bray, Cumming; grandchildren, Rick and Corey Detscher, Zack and Madison McEver, Madalynne Lewis, Kari Detscher, Mason McEver, Thomas, III and Raven Lewis, William Nicholas Detscher, Sammy McEver, Kati Jane Detscher, Matthew Bray, Olivia Bray, Tucker Bray, Rachel Bray, Judah Bray; great grandchildren, Norah Detscher, Cohen McEver, Sadie Detscher, Tatum McEver, Elijah Lewis, Josie McEver, Graham Detscher; sister and brother in law, Peggy and Butch Wolff, Bonneau, SC; brothers and sisters in law, Charles and Faye Owens, Andrews, SC, Leonard and Gail Owens, Bonneau, SC; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 6, 2021 at 12 noon at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate. Interment will follow in Sawnee View Gardens.
