Obituary for Randall Owen
Randall Owen, 70, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023.
Born July 20, 1952, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Randall retired as a supervisor with Gilford Mills following 25 years of service. He was also a former security guard at North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. A member of Liberty Baptist Church, he was preceded in death by his son, Randall Scott Owen; mother, Ethel B. Garner; father, Marvin C. Owen; brother, Charles E. Owen.
Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Angela and Everett Gilbert, Theodosia, MO; stepmother, Wilda Pirkle, Dawsonville; grandsons, Uriah Gilbert, Ansel Gilbert; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jason Hamby will officiate. Interment will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4:30 until 8 at the funeral home.
