I only learned today of the passing of Robert. I worked with him at SCS and we challenged each other in so many ways. Each meeting we had he brought humor and passion about his work and doing it well. The world is diminished with his passing.

I worked with Robert at Southern Company. From the minute we met, we hit it off and became fast friends. We had many conversations about his family and life experiences and it turned out we were at GT together for a brief time and has several mutual friends. Such a small world! Most of all we laughed!!! He made work so much more bearable for me and others. When he first arrived at SoCo he organized his cubicle perfectly and when we complimented him on it, he’d come over to our cubes and help us get organized as well. Ha! His vocabulary was amazing and I loved to listen to him speak. He would make me smile in meetings when others - even managers didn’t would ask him to translate what he just said. I learned new words daily! And now I often reference the grammar book he gave me for my 50th birthday! We also shared a love of musicals and I had the pleasure to see Newsies with him and his good friends. There are so many more things I can say as we shared so much in the short time we knew each other. I will miss you my dear friend and your kind soul. You will be forever in my heart and memories. Hugs and Love Always!

Robert has been my friend for what seems like forever. We even became roommates at one time. Best quizzo teammate you could ask for. I miss you buddy. We talked just two weeks ago...I wish we talked longer.

I am saddened to learn of Bobby's passing. He is an important part of my Y Club memories and he trained me when I went to work full-time at HQ. Y Club was so important to him and we had some great times. He will be missed. I am sorry for your family's loss and that I could not attend the service in person.
