Obituary for Shane Matthew Flynn
Shane Matthew Flynn, 38, of Dahlonega passed away Monday November 30, 2020.
Born November 9, 1982, he was a native of Forsyth County but lived most of his life in Lumpkin County. Mr. Flynn worked in construction and had a passion for cooking. A typical southern man, he enjoyed the outdoors and loved his children. He loved to barter and was skilled in anything he attempted.
Surviving are his children, Mattie Flynn and Mielah Flynn, of Dahlonega; mother, Pennie Meyer, Dahlonega; father and stepmother, Roy and Debbie Flynn, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Crystin and Josh McMahan, Arden, NC, Mandy and Kris Davis, Dawsonville, Kristy and Matthew Nixon, Dawsonville, Victoria and David Kreps, Walnut Grove; brothers and sister in law, Royce Flynn, Dawsonville, Jonathan and Katie Meeks, Dahlonega; grandmother, Joyce Arnold, Dawsonville; aunt, Pam Arnold, Dawsonville; uncles, Troy Arnold, Dawsonville, Eugene Spivey, Monticello; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 4, 2020 at 2 o’clock at Chestatee Worship Center with the remains placed in state at 1 o’clock. Pastor Ricky Stepp will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 until 8 at the funeral home.
