Thomas Wayne “Hogger” McDaniel, 61, Martin, GA passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020 after an extended illness. He was a member of Belvedere UMC, Decatur, GA. Tommy loved all sports, gardening and barbequing. He was kindhearted and would do anything to help a friend or neighbor. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.

He is preceded in death by his father, Neal McDaniel; stepfather, Aubie D. “Mac” McKenzie; brother, James Victor McDaniel; and is beloved dog, Pocono.

He is survived by his mother, Clifford McKenzie of Martin, GA; sisters and brothers in law, Charlotte and Ben Dietrich of Dawsonville, GA, Lynn and Keith Phinney of Auburn, GA; brothers and sisters in law, Glenn and Shirley McDaniel of Dawsonville, GA, Bill and Patty McDaniel of Dawsonville, GA, Dan and Tammy McKenzie of Buford, GA; and numerous other nieces and nephews and other relatives survive.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Dennis Wilkes officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
