Obituary for Tyler Daniel Fried

Tyler Daniel Fried, 33, of Gainesville GA, died on April 7, 2020 as the result of a tragic automobile accident. Tyler was born on January 29, 1987 in Hollywood, FL and is survived by his mother Patricia Ann (Howard) Fried, his father Richard Fried, his older sister Jeri Michelle (Fried) Hartley and younger brother Joshua Fried.
Tyler was a loving son, brother and uncle, who always lit up a room with his smile and sense of humor. Tyler graduated from Milton High School in Milton, GA and attended Georgia Southern University. Tyler followed his dream and graduated from the Lanier Technical College Motorsports Vehicle Technology program.
While at Lanier Tech, Tyler worked at the Skip Barber Racing School (Braselton) and then joined Motor Werks Racing (Dawsonville) upon graduation.
Over the last three years, Tyler’s “home away from home” was Motor Werks Racing, where he became an integral part of the Motor Werks family. He was enthusiastic about his work and expanded his knowledge. His passion for building race cars and striving for perfection energized him and was apparent to everyone that knew him. Tyler truly loved his work and excitedly updated “Mom” and “Dad” about the projects he was working on. Tyler was proud of his work and hungered to learn, grow and excel.
Tyler will be missed by his many friends, coworkers and family.
A memorial/celebration of life service will be held after the COVID 19 pandemic need for “Social Distancing” ends.
