Obituary for William Joseph Kimball

William Joseph Kimball, 64 of Dawsonville, GA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 7, 2021 at NEGA Medical Center, Gainesville, GA. He was born in Minneapolis, MN to the late Leonard Marvin and Donna Jean Kimball. He was a Lutheran Pastor for 14 years and then started his own consulting group called Kimball Consulting where he did Planned Giving for Non Profit Groups. He loved playing the guitar, music and was an avid golfer. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Janice Kimball of Dawsonville, GA; children, David (Melissa) Kimball of Cincinnati, OH, Kristyn Kimball of Boerne, TX, Brian (Nicole) Bonenberger of Canfield, OH; grandchild, Findley Bonenberger; sisters, Barbara (Dan) Constant of Cumming, GA, Mary (Bruce) Bunting of Houston, TX; brother, Robert (Donna) Kimball of Cleves, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel, Dawsonville, GA with Reverend Daniel Bogre officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 10:00 until service time.

A reception will be held immediately following the Memorial Service at The Chestatee Lodge, 270 Nightfire Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534.

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Tribute/Memorial Fund for Bill Kimball to be used for the purchase of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) to be placed on the Chestatee Golf Course. Donations should be sent to Margie Hock, 172 Blue Herron Bluff, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Please include Bill’s name in the memo on the check.
