Obituary for James W. Ray Sr.

James W.  Ray Sr.
James W. Ray, Sr., 73, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday April 2, 2014 following a period of declining health.
Born January 11, 1941 in Ashland, Ohio, he had lived in Dawson County for the past two years having moved from Apache Junction, Arizona. Mr. Ray retired from Lucent Technologies after over 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray; and a grandson, Justin Ray.
Surviving are his children, Jim and Gina Ray, Cumming, Charlene Ray, Dawsonville, Jeff Ray and Susie Barron, Canton; granddaughters, Brittney Ray, Destiny Ray; and his mother, Kathryn Ray, Arizona.
At his request Mr. Ray was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
