I have 74 years of memories. My very best and dearest friend (my brother Terry). The early, early memory was I always had a playmate. They got better when we convinced Mom we didn’t have to dress alike. Growing up on the farm prompted hard work but we rewarded ourselves with play afterwards, (I am sorry I broke your arm; it really was an accident). Competition in school – I don’t think he wasn’t smarter but he definitely worked harder. Tried separate dorms in college but got back together for the last years. Lots of good times, friends and college degrees in the other Miami U. Major separation after college. I stood up for him and he was my best man on wedding days. He became a mover/shaker with IBM (and he did move), took a 2 year LOA to serve Uncle Sam and after that when we visited it was really neat. It was golf, boats, drinks, diners and laughter with our friends, family and kids. Early kid stories about when the kids confused dad with uncle and vice versa. I think we visited most all of the City and County golf courses when he visited the North and he treated me to the more sophisticated venues offered around Dawsonville when I went South. He treated both my kids to water skiing behind his pride and joy Wellcraft Scarab (I remember Mandy popping up like a cork). Envied his 1963 Corvette split window coupe. We shared good times on summer vacations at the beach. I could go on and on. I know he is in a better place. I will miss him.
To: Lisa, Shane and family, Shannon and family, Barbara, Debby and family/friends too numerous to mention: we will all remember him and all the good times and good thing he shared with us. Be Well.
