Robert Reece, 74, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday June 24, 2015 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born May 23, 1941, he was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mr. Reece retired from the Coke Cola Company after 35 years of service and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Patsy Reece; and parents, Egbert and Rosa Reece.
Surviving are his children, Kim and Gary Porter, Kris and Greg Rowan, Wesley Reece, all of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Ashley and Jesse Tobias, Lindsey and Chris Holmes, Jessica Rowan, Josh and Madalyn Rowan, Kari Reece, Jacob Reece, Nikki Reece, Kolbee Reece, Rylee Reece, Kaylee Grace Reece, Kole Parker Reece; his beloved pet, Katie; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday June 26, 2015 at 12 noon at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eddie Herring will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 until 8 at the funeral home.
