Obituary for Mary Virginia Cagle

Mary Virginia  Cagle
Mary Virginia Cagle, 90, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday July 19, 2015 at her residence following a period of declining health.
Born December 13, 1924 to the late George Frank and Lelia Gober, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mrs. Cagle retired from the Forsyth County School System where she worked as a custodian and was formerly employed a number of years by AT&T. A hard worker and loving mother and “granny”, she was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was also preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Wilson and Harold Cagle; son, David Lee Wilson; brothers, Robert Gober, George Gober, Benton Gober, Ernest Gober; and a sister, Inez Stowers.
Surviving are her children, Danny Wilson, Anderson, SC, Patsy Jones, Dawsonville, Terry Wilson, Dawsonville, Ann Strickland, Dawsonville; eleven grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 21, 2015 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Cecil Reeves and Mr. Corbin Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 3:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist with final expenses.
