Rachel Jane Higgins, 37, of Dawsonville passed away Tuesday September 8, 2015.
Born October 4, 1977 and raised in Forsyth County, she had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 11 years. Rachel was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She loved to fish, hunt, and be with her friends.
Surviving are her parents, Mack and Emma Lou Higgins, Dawsonville; brother, Ralph Higgins, Dawsonville; aunts and uncles, Joanne and Cloyse Stanford, Cumming, Joyce and Lanier Castleberry, Cumming, Martha and Phillip Castleberry, Cumming, Pat Higgins, Dahlonega, Sarah and Harold Evans, Dawsonville; nieces and nephews, Kaera, Amber, Andy, Brittnea, Steele, TJ, Dwayne; a number of very special friends and loved ones.
Memorial services will be held Monday September 14, 2015 at 3 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Higgins will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2 o’clock until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to help offset final expenses.
