Aunt Katherine is so much in my life. Living 'up the road' as I was growing up, all of the Coleman family was just to me an extension of my family. Darrell and Marshall were brothers in my thinking, still are. And Katherine was-is another mother. She was there when in diapers, I was toddling up the dirt road to her and Lawrence's house. She was watching over my safety on the phone with my mom, "yes, I see him coming my way. I'll watch 'til he gets here" She was there in my college days when I was at the end of my rope about to call it an end. But she would not let me give up. "Lord help me hang in there." That became our motto. The memories are many, but one of the best to me is praying with Katherine over Lawrence. There was a period where Lawrence stopped going to church. Doesn't matter why. But it became Kahki's and my desire to try getting him back in church. We prayed together, mostly by her leading, and long story short, Lawrence eventually came back to being a faithful servant at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Praise be to God to this day. The most important thing I can say: Katherine is a perfect example of a virtuous woman Proverbs 31:10-31 Kahki, thanks for being there for me so many times. I Love You, Alan
