Obituary for Roy Cobb

Roy  Cobb
Roy Cobb, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday May 11, 2013 at his residence following a period of declining health.
Born September 9, 1949 to the late Theodore and Ruth Cobb, he had been a resident of Dawsonville for the past 14 years. After retiring from Fulton County with 32 years of service, Mr. Cobb owned and operated Mason Dixon Embroidery and Screen Printing in Dawsonville. A member of New Light Baptist Church, Cumming, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Cobb.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Sarah Cobb, Dawsonville; children, Melissa and Terry Puckett, Teresa and Bill Eggert, Terry and Janet Elrod, Tammie and Scott Sweatman; grandchildren, Systine, Theo, Drake, Wednesday, Morgan, Josh, Austin, Phoebe, J.T.; brother and sisters in law, Gene and Pat Cobb, Cumming, Diane Cobb, Whitesburg; sister and brother in law, Elizabeth and Bud Adams, Dahlonega; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 15, 2013 at 11 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bud Sutton and Terry Elrod will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 on Monday and from 4 until 8 on Tuesday at the funeral home.
