Condolence From: Terrie D. Parks
Condolence: We love and miss you so very much Uncle Marion, you have always been like a dad to me, you always called or came by to see me, Lonnie, and my dad. You are not only one of the best Uncles anyone could have, but also a Legend and a Hero... You always said you were not a hero when you told your stories about Pearl Harbor or the old days with your brothers Kirk, Ralph Shirley, and also the ones with Uncle Raymond Parks, but you have been one to All of us, you and your Pearl Harbor buddies ! We are going to miss hearing those stories from you.. Our hearts are broken to see you go. I know you have Aunt Louise there to take care of you ! You were always trying to help others, such as Aunt Lucille, whom I know misses you dearly also ! Thank you with all of our hearts for being who you were - One of a Kind ! Marion F. Shirley ! Thoughts and Prayers are with you, Franklin, Tim, Donna, your pup, and family we all love you very much.. Love Terrie, Lonnie and Family !

Condolence From: Bill Brockman
Condolence: I had the honor of meeting Mr. Shirley in the Howell Mill Krogen two or three years ago. When I asked him about his WW2 veteran hat, he told me his incredible record of service from Pearl Harbon through the end of the Pacific War. I felt like I was in the presence of living history. Thank you for all you did for our country, Sir. Fair Winds and Following Seas!
