Obituary

Timothy P. “Tim” Rider, 48, of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away Wednesday July 8, 2020 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born June 30, 1972, he was a native of Dawson County. Tim worked as a heating and air conditioning technician. He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his father, Morris “Chick” Rider.
Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Donna Rider, Mt. Airy; children, Christopher and Marissa Anderson, Mt. Airy, William Pardue, Banks Co., Eric and Lacy Pardue, Banks Co., Brandon Pardue, Mt. Airy, Tamika Hill, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Audry Anderson, Hollis Anderson, Christian Pardue, Ricky Hanson, Dixie Hanson, Nova Pardue; mother, Patsy Rider, Dahlonega; sisters and brothers in law, Ellen and Jeff Mooney, Toccoa, Molly and Bobby Bettis, Marietta, Roxanne Glaze, Dahlonega; brothers and sister in law, Willie Rider, Dawsonville, Tim and Lindsay White, Dawsonville; and a number of other relatives.
Memorial services will be held Sunday July 12, 2020 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bobby Pierce will officiate. Interment will follow at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

I’m so sorry for the loss of Tim I went to school with him at Dawsonville. Just found out I have moved to Denver praying for all involved

I loved this man I used to work for him he was the most put standing guy had fun times working with him my nickname he called me was red I miss him dearly
