Condolence From: MARY ANNE (CHILDRESS) EDMONDS
Condolence: Like David Fradley, I knew Don as a student at St. Mary's Cathedral School in Miami, FL. David Fradley is standing on Don's left in the 1965 May Crowning class picture, or to the right side of Don, as you look at the picture! David Fradley also went to Archbishop Curley High with Don, but Don left and finished at a public high school, Miami-Edison Senior High. How could any of us forget Donald Jackson, the boy with the RED HAIR??!! Don sat behind me in 7th or 8th grade, I can't remember which grade, as we had Sister Rita Joseph for homeroom, two years in a row. Don loved teasing me and eventually Sister moved Don to another seat. I have posted some pictures of the Don Jackson we knew back in the 1960's! I am the third girl from the left, standing on the step. At our last reunion, I showed a video of converted movie film and Don was in my video, coming out of St. Mary's Cathedral, carrying the cross, for Bishop Coleman F. Carroll's Mass. Don was an Altar Boy and he was chosen to be one of the Bishop's Servers, an honor!! Our St. Mary's group had hoped to see Don at our next reunion. Christine Bogdanow, who was in the May Court, seated on the bench, all the way to the left, asked me to post two pictures of her and Don, when they were asked to be Godparents for Gina Epling. We are so sorry to learn of Don's passing and we send our sincerest sympathy, deepest condolences and prayers to Don's wife, Shelley, and the Jackson family!! May Don Jackson Rest In Peace! We are so very sorry for your loss. God Bless all of you!

Condolence From: David Fradley
Condolence: I am very sorry to hear about Don's passing. He and I were friends many, many years ago. Although I haven't seen him in over 40 years, he has always been and always will be in my thoughts.
